Two part series describing the attitude and experience of the 2024 “Vote or Die” movement. Vote or Die represents the youth’s hopelessness of the future. Voting is merely a symbol of divisiveness and powerlessness in a corrupted Democracy. With all that is said, I voted for Kamala Harris in the 2024 election, and Joe Biden four years before.

Review of a “Vote or Die” themed rave on November 20th 2024. Featuring local DJs; Et0H, DJ Anonymous, Daisy Dyke and a special performance by Girlwife. This review was rejected by Discorder magazine for being apathetic towards voting, I prefer the term hopeless.
Essay - "Voting is Symbolic Violence"
Essay submitted for a University Sociology course, inspired by concepts of “Vote or Die” from the previous review. In this paper I expand on observations of the two party social divide, distracting citizens from the realities of class warfare. The prompt of the paper was to describe an act of symbolic violence, I chose voting. With all that’s said, I expect to vote for another Democrat in 2028.
