Essay submitted for a University Sociology course, inspired by concepts of “Vote or Die” from the previous review. In this paper I expand on observations of the two party social divide, distracting citizens from the realities of class warfare. The prompt of the paper was to describe an act of symbolic violence, I chose voting. Will all that’s said, I expect to vote for another Democrat in 2028.
